Why are we Waiting

Pay What You Can
We want to give people back the space between sending and receiving. We want you to feel the tingle of anticipation, the thrill of not-knowing-quite-yet. We want to find you staring out of the window waiting for the postman to arrive.
A desk sits abandoned. Someone sits down and writes a letter. They put it in an envelope and post it, then write their own address on another envelope. Then someone else sits down and writes a letter for the first person, and onwards. What will you get - a love letter, a poison pen letter, a poem, a sentence, a drawing? You'll have to wait to find out.
Why Are We Waiting is a small show about reviving unnecessary pauses. About making people wait. It began as a BAC scratch performance.
