Orbita - The Stars Below Us
23 & 24 August, 6pm, as part of Forest Fringe's Weekend in Bristol
All good things must come to an end; all things must pass. There's nothing penultimate about this one; the End is nigh. But I am getting ahead of myself. In order to fully comprehend the end of the world, we must first understand the world in which we live now. And to understand this, we need to know exactly where we have come from.
Starting with the end of the world, Orbita explore humankind's realtionship witht the cosmos, with time and the interconnected nature of our Pasts, Presents and Futures. It is a stort of Life, The Universe and Everything. Fusing science fiction and science fact, lecture and edmonstartion with animation and live music, orbita tell a tale of a time when life was simnplker and the sun brighter.
This is not The End. It is not even the beginning of The End. But is, perhaps, the end of The Beginning.
