What is your claim to fame?
Claim to Fame is an interactive enquiry based around the one to one meeting of artist and audience member. Asking what it is to know someone and questioning our attitudes to familiarity and intimacy the work attempts to build a community of strangers linked solely by their brushes with stardom.Most of all Claim to Fame is an excuse to meet people so please feel free to take a look at the collection of stories so far and perhaps even share one of your own.
Jo Bannon is an Arnolfini associate artist and a member of Residence, working both as a solo artist and as a part of Peoples in Pieces. Her practice is centred on finding new ways of intimacy in a live shared space and implications of the collective in performance.
